The Artist Outreach

Use music and the other creative arts to help improve young students' academic performance such as language and math.

The Artist Outreach (TAO) works to change the educational, emotional, and financial futures of those we serve through creative arts programs provided to schools and advocacy centers.

In Dallas County, STREAMliners programs take place in Dallas ISD (4 schools), on all thirty-three Mesquite ISD campuses, Uplift Education Charter Schools (various campuses throughout Tarrant and Dallas Counties), and Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Saint Mary of Carmel, and St. Bernard of Clairvaux Catholic schools. we also deliver afterschool programs through Big Thought, Reader2Leaders, Rainbow Days, and Recovery Resource Council.  In Tarrant County, we serve Fort Worth ISD schools, TCU‚Äôs Starpoint Laboratory School, Westlake Academy, and Uplift Education schools; we deliver out-of-school programs for partners Recovery Resource Council and Fort Worth community centers. We also serve all the elementary schools in Crandall ISD in Kaufman County.

Our Early Childhood Reading Readiness (ECRR), for which we are requesting financial support, is one of TAO’s most effective STREAMliners programs as it reaches the youngest students and prepares them for successful, early reading. TAO delivers ECRR to some 10,200 young learners in 57 school campuses on a weekly basis.

Mission

We use music and the other creative arts to help improve young students' academic performance such as language and math. The STREAMliners is our main program.
