How it works?
Non-profits are nominated by members of the alumni community. These are usually non-profits with whom the member has volunteered or served on the board, though this isn't a requirement.
The Talent. Service. Impact team is looking for non-profits who are managed locally. Usually these are purely local organizations, though they can include national organizations with independently run local chapters. These non-profit organizations should have opportunities for skilled and professional volunteers to help with specialized tasks and projects. Some examples include developing new programs, strategic planning, financial management, teaching, organizing/running initiatives, marketing/promotion, leading IT initiatives or anything inbetween. Having a road to board membershp is a definite plus.
The Talent. Service. Impact team has experience working with many non-profits, and will work with our non-profit partners to identify and articulate specific opportunities for our alumni members.
We want to give our alumni, and members of other leading alumni and professional groups, the chance to get to know the non-profit program participants. To do that, we will share information through a variety of channels including this website, our club's website, social media channels, and email newsletters.
The culmination of the Talent.Service.Impact are periodic in-person evening events. The evenings include open networking time for interested volunteers to visit the non-profit leaders at their display tables and a presentation by an inspiring keynote speaker. Appetizers and non-alcoholic beverages are provided. The final date and speaker for the 2023-2024 program will be announced in August 2023.
